Tonia Grant
Meet
Wife. Mother. GiGi. Fashion Trailblazer.
Hey beautiful! I’m Tonia Grant, the proud founder and CEO of Bag It Up Boutique, and I’m so glad you’re here. 💕

I’m a native of North Little Rock, Arkansas, married to my best friend Juvaris, and together we’ve been blessed with three incredible children and two beautiful grandbabies. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas and a Master’s in Management and Leadership from Webster University. But beyond the degrees and titles—I’m just a curvy girl who turned her passion into purpose.

Fashion has always been in my heart, but for years, I struggled to find stylish clothing that made me feel seen. As a plus-size woman, it often felt like I had to settle, shrink, or stay silent. But deep down, I knew one thing: I wasn't alone. I wanted to create a space where women like me could feel beautiful, bold, and confident—in every single outfit.

And so, my journey began—with nothing but faith, hustle, and the trunk of my car.

The Story Behind the Brand
From the Trunk to a Movement.
In 2006, I started selling clothing and accessories from my car, meeting women where they were and helping them feel fabulous right there on the spot. By May 2007, I opened the doors to the very first African American-owned plus-size boutique in Little Rock, AR—Bag It Up Boutique.
We were more than just racks and price tags. We were a vibe. A place where women of all shapes and sizes felt welcomed, heard, and celebrated.
But just three years later, the 2009 recession hit, and in 2010, I made the painful decision to close our brick-and-mortar store. That moment tested me—but it didn’t break me. I pivoted to an online space, leaned into faith, and stayed committed to my mission: helping women build confidence through fashion.
Our brand has evolved from a boutique to a community. A sisterhood. A whole experience.
We’ve gone from pop-ups and modeling calls to sold-out events, podcast interviews, speaking engagements, and our very own runway fashion show after 18 years in business. And we’re just getting started.
Bag It Up Boutique is more than fashion. It’s faith-fueled confidence, and it’s YOUR reminder that no matter your size or story—you are always enough.
